Soil Science & Stabilisation

Improving soil stability is essential for long-term site performance. This service focuses on analysing soil conditions and applying stabilisation methods that help strengthen ground surfaces and support construction and environmental restoration projects.

Erosion Control

Managing erosion is critical on construction and disturbed sites. This service focuses on practical erosion control methods that protect soil, reduce runoff and help maintain stable ground conditions across developing or restored areas.

Hydromulch

Hydromulching provides an efficient way to establish vegetation on disturbed land. This service applies a protective mulch and seed mixture that supports fast ground coverage and helps control erosion on exposed surfaces.

Environmental Awareness Training

Understanding environmental responsibilities is important on construction sites. This training service provides practical guidance on sustainable land management, environmental protection and responsible work practices during development and restoration projects.

Drone Surveys

Drone surveys provide detailed aerial data that supports site planning and environmental assessment. This service captures accurate site imagery and information that helps guide project planning, monitoring and environmental management decisions.

Environment Restoration & Revegetation

Restoring disturbed land requires careful planning and practical methods. This service focuses on rebuilding healthy landscapes through revegetation techniques and environmental restoration strategies that support long term land stability.

Environmental Consultancy

Environmental consultancy supports informed decision-making during construction and land management projects. This service provides practical advice, site assessments and guidance to help manage environmental responsibilities and project planning.

Certified Erosion Control & Compliance

Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC)

CPESC is an international certification that demonstrates advanced knowledge in managing erosion and sediment risks on construction and land development sites. It focuses on applying best practice principles to control soil movement, manage water flow and protect surrounding environments. This certification reflects a strong understanding of planning, implementation and ongoing site management.

Registered Soil Practitioner - Erosion & Sediment Control (RSP-ESC)

RSP-ESC is a newer accreditation through the Soil Science Association of Australia that recognises professionals with specialised expertise in soil behaviour and erosion processes. It places greater emphasis on soil science and how land responds to disturbance, complementing the broader planning focus of CPESC. Together, these qualifications provide a more comprehensive approach to erosion and sediment control.

CPESC and RSP-ESC services include:

  • Preparation of Soil & Water Management Plans: Plans that outline how soil stability and water movement will be managed across a site.
  • Erosion & Sediment Control Plans: Detailed strategies that identify risk areas and define measures to reduce soil loss and sediment movement.
  • Site Erosion & Sediment Control: Practical on-site measures used to stabilise soil and control runoff during project works.
  • Compliance Inspections: Regular assessments to ensure erosion and sediment controls are correctly installed and maintained.
  • Independent CPESC Audits: Objective reviews that assess site performance and identify opportunities for improving erosion control practices.

Past Projects

At Environment Restoration Solutions, our past work showcases how we’ve transformed construction sites and rejuvenated natural ecosystems across the North Coast. Explore some of our past projects below to see how we’ve successfully partnered with developers, builders, and councils to bring their visions to life while safeguarding the land for future generations.

In 2023, ERS restored the Mara Creek trail in Yuraygir National Park, repairing erosion from 2022's extreme rainfall. The project included erosion repairs, bridge construction, sustainable drainage solutions, and improved signage to enhance visitor safety and education. These efforts revitalised the trail, preserving the park's ecological integrity and enriching the visitor experience.

In 2023, the Rawson Falls Walk in Boorganna National Park underwent extensive restoration to enhance visitor experience and protect the environment. Erosion damage was repaired, retaining walls and drainage systems were installed, and improved signage was added for safety and navigation. All work was carried out manually using site-sourced materials, preserving the trail's natural character and ensuring its sustainability for future generations.

ERS carried out beach access stabilisation works in Minnie Water National Park to ensure safe, sustainable access while protecting the coastal ecosystem and significant Indigenous sites. The project included erosion control measures and the implementation of new structures designed to prevent further degradation.
