In 2023, Environment Restoration Solutions led the restoration of the Mara Creek trail, addressing significant erosion damage caused by the previous year’s extreme weather.
Our work providing sustainable solutions for the Yuraygir National Park
Key activities included stabilising eroded sections of the trail to restore safe access and constructing bridges over delicate areas to minimise disruption to the park's ecosystems. Sustainable drainage solutions were also installed to manage runoff and prevent future erosion.
In addition to physical repairs, we installed new signage to improve visitor navigation, safety, and awareness of the park’s rich biodiversity. This comprehensive approach not only revitalised the trail for public use but also preserved the ecological integrity of Yuragir National Park, ensuring a sustainable future for the trail and its surrounding habitats.
